Year 6
Welcome to Year 6’s page – our current Year 6 staff are Miss Burgess (6B) and Miss McGlynn (6K), Miss Jones, Mr Patel, Miss Nally, Mrs Carter and Miss Ciuclea!
Although Year 6 is an important year in your child’s education, it is our mission to ensure that they feel confident and secure in their understanding and have the tools needed to be successful.

Homework

Set every Monday - this gives pupils opportunities to come into school and ask about homework if they are not understanding it.

Reading - the expectation is that all pupils spend at least 10 minutes daily reading. Evidence shows more reading opportunities massively increase pupils' vocabulary.
PE

Year 6B & 6K - PE will take place every Friday

Year 6B - swimming will take place in summer 1

All pupils are expected to take part in PE.

During the winter season, please ensure that your child has suitable clothing.
